WHAT LED YOU TO ROCK?
ROCK took over the property management for the company that I had worked for and they got me in the process (package deal)!

WHAT IS THE MOST SATISFYING ASPECT OF BEING IN ACCOUNTING?
I enjoy the month end reporting, especially when it shows a large net income! We have a great team at ROCK, everyone works well together.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE CONSIDERING ACCOUNTING AS A CAREER?
You need to be flexible. People often think accountants work alone (which we do), but we are also very “service” oriented, always providing information to owners, property managers, tenants.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT WORKING AT ROCK?
The people are the best part of ROCK, lots of different personalities. I love hearing all the stories and hobbies that everyone has.

WHAT BEHAVIOR OR PERSONALITY TRAIT DO YOU MOST ATTRIBUTE YOUR SUCCESS?
I would say I’m very cooperative and don’t mind helping with any task. I’ve gotten much better at listening over the years and not reacting.

WHAT IS THE BEST PIECE OF PROFESSIONAL ADVICE YOU HAVE RECEIVED?
Do your best at the job you have been given. No one position is really more important than the other.

WHO HAS INFLUENCED YOU THE MOST WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR CAREER?
I’ve had many influences over the years. I have learned something new from each place that I’ve worked. It would be hard to say who/what had the most influence.

WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU WERE GROWING UP?
Hmmm, I didn’t really have any big plans. I remember my sister and I liked to pretend we were part of the Partridge Family, so maybe a family singing group traveling around on a bus? Also, my grandmother and mother were both public school secretaries, and I loved visiting them at the schools and hearing all the stories.

My bucket list plans revolve around travel, cross-country road trips and more visits to Europe.

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU ARE GREAT AT?
Being a Nana!!!! Love my grandbabies.
