WHAT LED YOU TO THIS CAREER?  When I was working in retail management, a commercial broker stopped in to check on our store opening, during our conversation I became interested after inquiring about the commercial real estate industry.

WHAT IS THE MOST SATISFYING ASPECT OF YOUR JOB?  Being able to solve issues for both landlords and tenants and seeing improvements around the properties.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE CONSIDERING PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AS A CAREER?  It is not a role for everyone as it can be very demanding and sometimes stressful, but it can also be very rewarding and satisfying. Everyday is different, which is one thing I personally like about this career.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT WORKING AT ROCK?  The close feeling of a small company and the team oriented approach. ROCK gives you confidence knowing you have support around you and that there is help when you’ve come across a situation you’ve never dealt with before.

"You have to be flexible, adaptive and understanding in this role."

WHAT BEHAVIOR OR PERSONALITY TRAIT DO YOU MOST ATTRIBUTE YOUR SUCCESS?  Thick skin and the ability to switch direction at the drop of a hat. You have to be flexible, adaptive and understanding in this role.

WHO HAS INFLUENCED YOU MOST WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR CAREER?  Honestly, I don’t think there is one specific person I can point to. Working in several different industries and working with many different people along the way has led me to be more well rounded and have carried that knowledge into the next chapter. I always like to learn and do new things and challenge myself.

"I have a passion for cars, especially muscle cars."

WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU WERE GROWING UP?  A singer, but I can’t even sing, ha! When we were kids, my cousins, sister and I used to perform to the 90’s pop singers in my Grandma’s basement, but we’d never had the guts to perform in front of anyone.

TELL US ONE THING ON YOUR BUCKET LIST?  I have always wanted to stay in those little huts over the water in Bora Bora.

TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF THAT WOULD SURPRISE US?  I have a passion for cars, especially muscle cars. I have a 1998 Trans Am which was my first car since I was 16. Next on my list is an early 70s Chevy Nova. My favorite thing to do is go to the drag strip, especially to see street legal drag cars race. I went to school for fashion design and I’d love to be doing something in that world, but I’m from the country and don’t like big cities. I have flipped several houses and have personally done the work hands-on from start to finish. My two golden retrievers are like my kids and I melt when I see other golden retrievers.
